We are authorized by USPA to issue the AFF certificate
to the students. The most modern course designed to teach how to skydive.
It consists of a 10-hour-class, an instructional tandem
jump, and 8 solo skydives. The whole course is based on the USPA standards.
So, by the graduation, you may be awarded with the USPA certificate, allowing
you to jump anywhere in the world. By the end of the ground class, the
student will simulate a real skydive condition and the instructor will
tell if he/she is ready to jump.
The more ground training you have, the better you will perform the maneuvers
free falling. So we believe that, with good orientation, you may not have
to repeat any jump.
In the first 3 skydives, you will have 2 instructors side by side with
you to assure your correct body position. All the jumps are going to be
from 12.000ft, with a 50-second-long free fall. The instructors will be
holding you until the deployment of the parachute.
During navigation, you will have a radio device to help you make a safe
navigation and land on target.
In the third skydive, the instructors will let you fly by yourself. From
the fourth to the seventh one, you will be accompanied by only one instructor.
In the graduation jump you will exit the airplane by yourself. Each jump
you will have different tasks to accomplish, you will be evaluated by
the instructors and approved to go to the next level, or may have to repeat
the jump.
There will be a briefing and debriefing session for each skydive. Check
the goals for each step of the AFF progression:
- Level 1: stability, altitude awareness, principles of deployment
- Level 2: same as level 1, plus 90 degrees turns to both sides and forward
movement
- Level 3: same as level 1, but keeping a solo flight
- Level 4: same as level 2, in a solo performance
- Level 5: 360 degrees to both sides, solo
- Level 6: back loopings and tracking
- Level 7: back and front loopings, 360 degrees turns, tracking
